Since PGDM or MBA are post graduate courses, they are one of the most sought after certifications among students and the corporate all over the world. The PGDM program is recognized universally and is considered as a necessity to pursue a successful management career. The PGDM program in JIMS is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. It is also recognized by AIU therefore it is equivalent to MBA.

 

A student aspiring to get admission in PGDM or PGDMIB in JIMS has to give an entrance test like CAT, MAT, ATMA, XAT or CMAT. The process of admission starts from January every year. The process of preparation for the student starts from August itself. CAT (Common Admission Test) is conducted by IIM once in a year in November, whereas MAT (Management Aptitude Test) is conducted by AIMA four times a year (in September, December, February and May). ATMA and CMAT are conducted twice a year by AICTE. XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test) is conducted only once in a year.
