Steps To Apply for a Scholarship during MBA

Applying for college scholarships is the same as applying to colleges. The defined rules and procedures have to be followed with documentary evidence. There are some colleges in Delhi- NCR such as LBSIM, AMITY, JIMS New Delhi, Kalkaji, NDIM   etc. which are some of the best management colleges who provides a suitable scholarship to the meritorious students on different basis and criteria (scores in MAT, CAT, C-MAT , XAT etc.) and the performance in Group Discussion and Personal Interviews. For taking the benefit of scholarship we need to complete and submit applications that include overall list of educational qualification and various academic achievements. The best advice is to follow the given directions for achieving the same. The points are as follows:
Research Starting Time: Collecting information about the scholarship which the various colleges are providing and application materials all take time. So we should do these research work well in advance by giving a lot of time for this.
Be careful about deadlines: Some colleges provide scholarships with deadlines. They provide the due dates on their academic calendar and work our way backward to figure out how much time we’ll have to approach them to get the things.
Be Careful About Eligibility Requirements : If we have a doubt  related with college scholarship about contact the scholarship sponsor to know the eligibility criteria clearly. Some of the Criterion are Minimum percentage in qualifying Exam (graduation) like 75% , scores in MAT, CAT, C-MAT , XAT – 85 percentile and aggregate score in performance in Group Discussion and Personal Interviews. There’s no point in applying for a scholarship for which we’re not eligible to receive. Be clear about percentage of scholarship on Total fees or Tuition Fees etc.
Get Organized : Make different file for different management college scholarship and arrange the files by application due dates. We should keep ready these documents well arranged in time .Generally these documents can be needed:
·         10th and 12th Class Certiificate
·         Score Card of the Aptitude test (MAT, CAT, C-MAT , XAT)
·         Graduation Percentage.
·         Parents' financial information, including tax returns
·         One or more letters of recommendation from the last passed esteemed organization
·         Proof of eligibility for the scholarship
Check Your Application : Before you send the application for applying any college scholarship we should keep the following points in our mind . Make sure we have filled in all the blanks and  our answers are readable. If we can, fill out the application online. Proofread our application. Run spell check and grammar check on the application. Remember to sign and date our application.
Keep Copies of Everything : Having copies of our college scholarship application makes it easy to resend quickly if application materials get lost in the mail. If we’re applying for a college scholarship online, save copies of our work on our computer.
Track the Package :If we’re submitting our application by mail, consider using certified mail or requesting a return receipt to confirm that our materials arrived at their destination. After Taking admission , the proof of scholarship granted has to be submitted to accounts department.
