Kshitij 2014, JIMS Delhi, Kalkaji

The most awaited inter-college fiesta ‘Kshitij & Celebrity Nite 2014’ organized by JIMS, a top, management college in Delhi was held on 1st March, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Kathuria Public School, Vasant Kunj .
The climate was perfectly suiting the large open garden of the venue where large number of students all across from Delhi/NCR had gathered to attend the grand event organised by JIMS New Delhi, which was sponsored by MTS, Oodles residency, Orifame, Balaji Metals, JPG builders, Mangla emporium, Navjeevan Enterprises, SKM jewelers, Sikri electric, Entourage club and with our media partner being Dainik Jgaran.
The venue was rather overflowing with the participants from various colleges namely Jaipuria institute of Management Noida, Jamia Hamdard,University school of law and mgmt Gurgaon, Deshbandhu College, IMS and many other eminent Management colleges in Delhi, and college of other streams and the cheerful audience was charged up for the first event of the day- solo singing competition. Ankit of, JIMS New Delhi, Lajpat Nagar, was outstanding and was declared first. Ashish Kakkar of, JIMS Delhi, Kalkaji, sang melodiously and came next to best.

Meanwhile Shailendra and Anmol of BBA, JIMS New Delhi, Kalkaji gave an outstanding performance to which all contestants of Solo song were thankful that they didn’t participated which would have raised the level of competition even more.

Various eminent personalities from corporate and media took valuable time out of their busy schedule to judge the events. Mr. Siddharth Paul, Rekha Verma were amongst our esteemed guests. Mr. Mukesh Chandra, IPS officer, JT commissioner of police graced the occasion as the guest of honor.

The next event was the Group dance. With thumping beats, peppy dance, loud music and great grooves came the 4 teams to perform.

JIMS Delhi, Vk-1 with their great locking and popping and hip hop style were the first one to perform having their basket ball prop star performer. JIMS New Delhi, Kalkaji, missed by a whisker with their bollywood medley whereas, JIMS, Lajpat Nagar, students bagged the first position by performing both semi classical and bollywood masala mix.

Mr. and Ms. Kshitij is the most prestigious and most likeable event of, JIMS Delhi, which has a set of rounds by a few guarding rules of Introduction, Talent round and Question and answers. Extremely talented boys and girls from, JIMS, fraternity and other colleges participated and showcased their overall personality. Vaibhav Anand of, JIMS New Delhi, Kalkaji, and Sushmita of JIMS, VK-I, won the titles by sweeping off the competition completely.

All this time some excellent comparing was done by our anchors Bhavya, Shefali, Shrishti & nidhi to keep the interest of audience was commendable. To increase the excitement and level of entertainment Prakhar of BBA, JIMS, KJ, and gave a lively dance act that took the audience on their feet. Another dance performance by BBA students of, JIMS Delhi, KJ kept the audience glued to their seats.

Fashion Show is one of the biggest highlight of kshitij ….young students perform showcasing their confidence and style by overcoming their nervousness and stumbling over the heels is indeed very inspiring. Beautiful girls of IHE were the clear winner with their perfect theme of Jashnn-e-Ishqa which celebrated the demons night attire. Pearl academy were the runner up for the event.

The suspense of announcing the winners came to an end by price distribution ceremony to all the winners by Chairman sir, Dr. Amit Gupta. Nevertheless the entertainment doesn’t ends here as star singer Shibani Kashyap was all set to set the stage on fire.

Pop singer Shibani Kashyap enthralled the audience with her popular numbers Soneya, Zinda Hoon Main. Around 2000+ students from various colleges of Delhi, NCR witnessed the frenzy. The celebrity had levitated the people with her energetic performance.

The grand event had to be ended which would have otherwise had never come to a stop…the annual event of, JIMS Delhi, will return with fun n frolic next year….
